Stars Ante Up For Africa
Poker Star.com is running a charity tournament at the EPT Monte Carlo. The tournament is Ante Up For Africa (AUFA) and will be played on April 27 before the start of the EPT Monte Carlo Final Event.
The money raised during the tournament will go towards helping raise awareness and money in Darfur. The prize money of the tournament will be donated to organizations that have direct impact on the crisis. The winner of the AUFA tournament will be given a 2010 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure prize package.
Poker Stars is bringing some of the biggest pros to play in the event including Daniel Negreanu and Hachem as well as celebrity players like Matt Damon, Ray Ramano and Ben Affleck.
If you are interested in playing in the event you can qualify for the EPT Monte Carlo at Poker Stars and all players that win their seat with PokerStars.com will be invited to take part in a AUFA freeroll final. The final two players will receive entry into the event as well as $1k for travel expenses.
