Poker Stars.com SuperNova Elite VIP

Poker Stars.com has one of the best player retention programs of any online poker room. They offer the Poker Stars VIP program. There are 6 levels: BronzeStar, SilverStar, GoldStar, PlatinumStar, Supernova and the most VIP level is Supernova Elite!

Each level entitles you to rewards including freerolls, bonuses, gear and makes it easier to earn FPP's.

Everyone starts out as BronzeStar so there isn't much of an advantage of being a member of that group.

SilverStar is 1,500 VPPs and player get 50% (1.5 FPP per 1 VPP)

GoldStar is 4,000 VPPs and players get 100% (2 FPP per 1 VPP)

PlatinumStar is 10,000 VPPs and players get  150% (2.5 FPP per 1 VPP)

Supernova is 100,000 VPPs and players get 250% (3.5 FPP per 1 VPP)

Supernova Elite is 1,000,000 VPPs and players get 400% (5 FPP per 1 VPP)

Poker Stars VIP levels reset after the year.  Supernova Elite is one of the most sough after VIP levels where Poker Stars gives players weekly, monthly freerolls and exclusive access to the VIP Store. They also get a free entry into the WCOOP main event and two entries to any live tournament including the WSOP main event!

On March 27, 2008 the first player of 2008 has reached Supernova Elite status. George Lind III reached the status and even more impressive, did not start playing until January 13 and still was able to beat the rest of the VIP poker stars.com field to become the first player of the year.

It took George (Poker Stars name: jorg95) two months and five days to reach the Supernova Elite status. Congrats to him and I am sure mid year there will be a lot of players in the club with 39 players reaching that Supernova Elite status in 2007.
