Poker Stars WCOOP.com 2009
Poker Stars will be beginning the 2009 World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) on September 3rd. The first event is a $1.25 million dollars No Limit Hold-em (6-player table) event with a buy-in of $215.
The Poker Star WCOOP will have 40 events and events will be played everyday until the 20th of September when Poker Stars will run the final tournament worth $10 million dollars. The buy-in for the WCOOP Final event will be $5,200 and satellites are running now until the start of the tournament.

All WCOOP events at PokerStar.com have satellite tournament running for them with buy-in's for as little as $1 dollar. Poker Stars has also created a site dedicated to the event at www.wcoop.com. Players will be able to track statistics for the tournament as well as find satellites and read about hall of fame players.
