Poker Stars Passport
Poker Stars is currently the largest online poker room and run the most poker tournaments of any internet poker site. Last month, they announced a new promotion called the Poker Stars Passport. This challenged frequent tournament players to a compete in a tournament leaderboard.
Every real money poker tournament that poker stars runs is part of the TLB leaderboard. For the original promotion they were offering $250k in seats to live poker tournaments around the world. The promotion was a huge success and thousands of players tried to compete for the passport prizes.
Poker Stars.com has now decided to continue the promotion but changing the prizes a bit. The top 200 TLB leaders will split $30,000 in cash with the monthly winner taking home $5,000 dollars. The top 1,000 players on the TLB leaders will compete in a special freeroll with $20,000 as the prize pool.
They have also announced that they will keep track of the leaders on their TLB Board with stats of the top players of the week, month and year and have a hall of fame for the very best players.
