Full Tilt Poker.net will again sponsor its own tournament, the Full Tilt Online Poker Series, this summer. Slated to begin Aug. 4 and end Aug. 15, the tournament will offer 34 different events for players. This is the 17th online poker tournament hosted by Full Tilt.
The online tournament will begin Aug. 4 with a no-limit hold-em tournament which will offer a final and total prize pot of more than $750,000. The buy-in for that event is $216. Overall the tournament promises more than $6 million in total prize money.
The FTOPS will feature several Rush Poker events. Rush Poker, a style of play created by Full Tilt, allows players to quickly move from one table to another as soon as they are done playing their hand instead of waiting for all the players at a table to finish playing the hand. There will he knockout, shootout, turbo and super turbo events as well.
For players who want to put less money into the pot, September offers the MiniFTOPS. This tournament, held from Sept. 8-19, includes 34 events and smaller buy-ins. The prizes, however, are still signifncant. The MiniFTOPS Two-Day Event offers $600,000 in total prize money.
