Shanna Hiatt

Shannia Hiatt PictureShanna Hiatt is a presenter and a model that has appeared on a number of different magazines, including a nude photo shoot in the April 1995 issue Playboy issue entitled The Girls of Hawaiian Tropic. She was also the cover model for this issue and was featured on the cover of the Playboy video entitled Playboy: The Girls of Hawaiian Tropic, Naked in Paradise. Hiatt was also ranked at #75 with Maxim Magazines “Hot 100 of 2005” list.

IN addition to being in numerous magazines, Hiatt also has a successful television career. Her best know television role was working as the host of the World Poker Tour for three seasons, which aired on The Travel Channel. Before hosting the show, Hiatt was not a poker player. Since her stint with the show, however, she has become a frequent online poker player and she can occasionally be found playing at the casinos as well.

In addition to hosting the World Poker Tour television series, Hiatt also hosted Poker After Dark and the National Heads-Up Poker Championship, both of which were aired on NBC. After becoming pregnant, however, Hyatt left the Poker After Dark series and has not returned.

Hiatt has a long string of beauty pageant titles and accolades. In 1995, she was named Miss Hawaiian Tropic USA. In this competition, she was representing Beach Have, New Jersey after she won the local Hawaiian Tropic pageant in 1994. It was after winning this title that she posed for Playboy. In 2002, she became the Keystone Light girl and, after being featured in Maxim Magazine, she earned a spot as the guest host for Wild On? With E! network. She has also appeared in movies and televisions shows, including Grandma’s Boy and Must Love Dogs. She also earned a roll as a stripper in Aaron Spelling’s Titans and received small rolls in 2002’s The Fourth Tenor, 2003’s Cupids and 2003’s Bill the Intern.

Television was Hiatt’s first love. With a father in the Army, her family moved around quite a bit. During this time, she would sit in front of the television for hours. When she was just eight years old, she would watch the news and the anchors as she dreamed of one day become a reporter.

Hiatt was also interested in sports. In high school, she was a cheerleader as well as a champion lacrosse and field hockey player. When she graduated from high school, she started studying broadcast journalism at Burlington County College in New Jersey. She also began modeling, which ultimately led to her dropping out of school in order to pursue that career path.

In the end, however, her modeling career led her right back into journalism when she landed her gig with the World Poker Tour in 2003. In her new position, she gave viewers tours of casinos and interviewed poker players as she traveled around the world. This ultimately led to her becoming the official spokesperson for PartyPoker.com. She also hosts a high-stakes celebrity poker match each week at The Grand Havana Room in Beverly Hills.
