Poker Sites for 2009
Well 2008 was a great year for online poker as well as PokerSplendor.com. New poker sites launched including one of my personal favorites Aced Poker currently on the merge poker network. There was also great promotions from the top online poker sites FullTilt and Poker Stars.com. Poker Stars broke a guiness world record last month with a tournament that had over 35,000 players!
At Best Online Poker Sites we launched our first international poker sites page and we can now saw we cover UK poker sites. We have also translated part of the site into german and plan to additional translations including italian and french.
In 2009, Best Online Poker Sites will be bigger and better with a lot of things in the pipeline to keep the site fresh and up to date with all the newest poker site information. We want to thank all of our visitors for the success of the site. The economy definitely had an effect on a lot of people this year and we hope all the best for our site visitors (and even those who don't visit our site).
In the US, on January 20, 2009 we will have a new president Barack Obama and I think he will do many great things for the country. Not only for the US but will help our standing around the world. Barack Obama is also a poker player himself so who knows we may see some poker legislation in the next four years! He has even launched a web 2.0 site Change.gov that allows citizens to hear Barack Obama's weekly address as well as submit questions for the administartion to read and answer.
