Poker Baltic Festival
PokerStars one of the best poker sites has announced that a popular event from the past will be returning. The PokerStars Baltic Festival is slated to reutrn to Estonia in June for four days.
The Baltic Festival will begin June 16 at the Olympic Casino in Tallinn, Estonia and will end June 19. The festival will be considered a stop on the European Poker Tour. True to form, PokerStars will offer online players a chance to qualify to win a prize package to the Estonian event.
The poker touranment will include No Limit Hold’em Terminator, Pot Limit Omaha, No Limit Hold’em and No Limit Hold’em Turbo.
Players from throughout the world can get a seat at the tournament by winning one of two poker tournaments being held at the PokerStars (www.pokerstars.net) site.
Last year’s Baltic Festival attracted more than 300 players from 24 countries. Last year’s winner was Thomas Partridge, who won $114,000.
The winner from 2008, Peter Eastgate, commented in the PokerStars press release, “It was a great event last year and I will definitely recommend it to all the players I know.”
Players who wear PokerStars logo items like hats and shirts at the touranment will also be awarded with additional seats on the Europoean Poker Tour, according to the site’s press release. The European Poker Tour runs through next year.
