Durrrr Challenges Poker World

Since beginning his online poker career as a meer teen at the age of 17, Tom “durrrr” Dwan has showed age holds no limit on earnings in the online poker realm. Durrrr is currently challenging all online poker players to a “Million Dollar Challenge”. Dwan is offering $1.5 million to anyone that can beat him at 50,000 heads-up hands of poker online.

There are several preconditions to the Durrrr’s Million Dollar Challenge:

1. The competitor owes Dwan $500,000 in the event of his success.
2. Only No Limit Hold ‘em and Pot-Limit Omaha are to be played.
3. Game stakes are to be at least $200/$400.
4. Stakes are to remain constant for the entire challenge, once they have been agreed upon.
5. Competitors must consistently have at least 75 big blinds in their stack at a time, otherwise they must reload.

First up to the challenge is heads-up specialist Patrik Antonius. Finland native, Antonius has been a regular on the World Poker Tour and European Poker Tour and is currently on “Team Full Tilt”. The two previously battled at the Aussie Millions Cash Game in 2009, where Antonius was victorious. Starting on February 18, 2009, the heads-up pair have so far played 4,178 of the total 50,000 hands, playing for a total of 13 hours and 12 minutes. Currently Durrrr is ahead with $140, 380.00 in winnings and a total of 2,325 hands won.
