Full TIlt Poker Happy Hour is a promotion that they run once a day and various tables through out the poker site. Happy Hour at Full Tilt Poker gives player double (or triple) the fulltilt points just for playing at the specially marked tables. The tables are marked with a smiley face and you will be able to keep track of how many points you have accumulated by going to the cashier and looking under my promotions.
Full Tilt Poker has recently announced that during christmas season players will be able to earn 3x from Dec 21st - Jan 1st. Also on Dec 24, 25, 26, 31 and Jan 1, FullTilt will be offering extended happy hour times. So what are you planning on doing this holiday season? See you at the table!
$100k Double Deuce
Posted on November 19th, 2008 by kdollar
Sunday has always been the biggest day for poker tournaments with Poker Stars offering the $1.5 million dollars guaranteed and Full Tilt Poker not too far behind with their $750k guaranteed. Poker Stars also has a Sunday warm up which is $750k guaranteed.
Full Tilt Poker is now introducing their own pre-$750k tournament and it is the $100k Double Deuce. The guaranteed prize pool is definitely less then the others but has a $22 dollars to buy-in. The other events are $215 dollars to play so this will bring in a lot of players that normally wouldn't play....(Fish). So this could be a very lucrative tournament for players willing to be patient and take advantage of mistakes by players not use to tournaments of this size. This new tournament will be played at 16:35 ET every sunday on FullTilt.

Full Tilt Poker Professionals 2008
Posted on March 26th, 2008 by kdollar
Full Tilt Poker.com is known for having the largest number of poker professionals in the industry and I have decided to list the most popular players from the full tilt roster. Being a full tilt poker professional means that the player gets 100% of their rakeback and an hourly wage. They also have a minimum number of hours per week they need to play.
When a Full Tilt Poker Pro sits at a table it is highlighted in red. All of the players that I have listed are players that there is good chance you will catch them playing if you log on to Full Tilt during peak hours.
Full Tilt Poker Pro's are not the same as players that are part of Team Full Tilt. Team Full Tilt Poker are the players that are the face of the poker room and are frequently shown in commercials. I am sure that Team Full Tilt players have a much better deal with the poker room and get a lucrative contract for signing on and playing exclusively for Full Tilt Poker.

Phil Ivey one of the full tilt poker professionals has won the 2008 LA Poker Classic WPT Event. The event had 655 poker players that entered the $10k buy-in tournament that was played at the Commerce Casino. Phil Ivey won $1.59 million dollars for taking first place and an entry into the $25k WPT Championship.
Phil Ivey was the chip leader when the final table was set. This didn't last long when he doubled up another player during the first hand at the final table. Phil Ivey kept his composure and worked his way back to the chip lead and when their were two players left he had a 4 to 1 chip lead. Phil Ivey won in 15 minutes when his full house beat Quinn Do's two pair.
This was Phil Ivey's record breaking 7th appearance at a WPT final table and moved him into the top 10 poker players of all time in tournament earnings.
