It’s not too late to join the 12 days of poker at bodog poker.com (http://poker.bodog.com). The event runs from Dec. 16 to Dec. 27 and could pay out fun rewards for the winners.
Some of the prizes Bodog is offering include a 52” Sony Bravia TV, a Sony VAIO desktop and laptop, a Playstation 3 and many more prizes. On many of the 12 days of poker, you can win guaranteed seats to the $100K tournament.
Bodog Poker.com makes entering easy. Simply play poker on the site and earn points. For every 25 points you earn, you’ll automatically be entered into the sweepstakes for that day. There are two draws each day, so you have two chances to win a prize.
If you play in the high stakes poker games, you’ll be awarded more points, which ultimately means more entries into the daily sweepstakes.
Some of the other prizes Bodog is offering include a Sony home theatre system, Tom Tom GPS, Canon Powershot camera and a Sony HD camcorder. The full list of prizes is located on the 12 days of poker prize page.
Bodog offers poker, but is also one of the best online casinos , and sports and horse betting as well.

BodogPoker.com Beta Software

Posted on June 24th, 2008 by kdollar

BodogPoker.com is pushing to become a premiere us poker site and one of the most important aspects is software that is fast, responsive and allows players to easily multi-table. Bodog is currently a mid sized poker room that offers good action at any limit.

Though they haven't established themselves as a market leader but are always striving to change that. They are currently in beta testing of new poker software that allows players to re-size tables which is a very important aspect that poker players look for when playing at an online poker room. This allows them to fit multiple tables in their browser to play at various tables at the same time.

If you would like to play with the new bodog poker software then follow this link to Bodog and find where it says: Bodog Poker Beta Download and that will take you to the beta download page.

*Also you can have the beta version and the old bodog software installed at the same time.

Other features that Bodog Poker currently allows players to test who are currently running the Beta software:

  • Full Screen Mode
  • Resizable game play windows
  • Embedded chat and game details
  • On demand player tools (like ‘em? hate ‘em? do what you want with them, it’s all up to you)
    • Chat
    • Game Details
    • Stats

Calvin Ayre has announced that he will no longer be running Bodog Life. Bodog is one of the largest online gambling companies with a poker room, casino and online sportsbook.

Calvin Ayre started Bodog in 1994 and has run the company ever since. There have been reports that in 2006 when they started the transferring the company to the Morris Mohawk Gaming Group, Calvin Ayre began to take a smaller role in the company. There is currently a board set up that will run the company and has been for the past two years and has recently expanded of the bodog brand into Europe and Asia.

There are rumblings online that Calvin Ayre will still have a large stake in the company and is taking a back seat so he will be able to travel and live his life without risking legal trouble in other countries outside of his current residence in Costa Rica. This is just rumors but on the official Calvin Ayre blog he talks about being able to live his life without having to focus all his attention on the Bodog brand.

Bodog Poker.com is a popular us poker site that offers poker players an online poker room with large tournament overlays and slick poker software.
