Bodog Poker Pro Lineup

As Bodog Poker.com continues its effort to stay standing in the face of poker giants like FullTiltPoker.net and PokerStar.com, it appears some changes are being made in-house.

The most recent change was the news that Justin Bonomo (or ZeeJustin) is no longer a sponsored pro at Bodog. This news comes just a couple of months after Jean-Robert Bellande also lost his pro status at Bodog.

Bonomo once came in second to Erick Lindgren, a pro at Full Tilt Poker, and won $230,000 during a poker game during the World Series of Poker in 2008.

This leaves just two poker pros at Bodog – Evelyn Ng and David Williams. The two will serve as the faces of Bodog Poker, as well as the company’s sports book and casino operations. Though Bodog is a strong site, it ranks just 15th in the world among online gaming sites. Bodog is one of the most U.S.friendly poker sites, however, and it ranks fifth in sites that accept players from the United States. This is all according to PokerScout.com.

It’s not yet clear why Bonomo’s image was removed from Bodog’s website sometime Saturday. In November, Bellande was removed from the site when Bodog chose to not renew his contract.
